the dog house in nether edge is brilliant they get to stay in a home setting and get long walks and lots of attention.

there's a couple of recent threads asking exactly the same thing
make sure you get your kennel cough vaccine done at least two weeks before going - else they probably won't be accepted
As far as kennels go i don't i'm afraid never used one although i know as strix said alot of threads about it recently.
You will have to prove to kennels that your dogs are up to date with vaccinations so you need the vac card. You will need to have given them the kennel cough vaccine as strix said at least 2 weeks before going.
Kennels vary but most allow you to take beds that your dogs are familiar with, a nice thing to do as they smell familiar and this is comforting when away from home.
Most will feed what you request so you can take your own food or they will feed the dod whatever food they provide.
Take your own collars and leads and give instructions on how you like your dog to be walked and greeted etc.
If you have a nervy dog DAP sprays are a good idea ask the kennel to spray it on their bed each day to help them relax, you could even consider rescue remedy in their water at request if you know they will find it very hard to settle when they first arrive.
If you know your dogs gets cold take a coat or something nice for them to sleep in, i.e. my little girl won't settle when cold so she has fleece pyjama's and loves em.
Most kennels will advise you when you call them.

how much! i board greyhounds and lurcher types and would charge less than that for 2 for the week. does he have a boarding license? Anyone who charges for boarding has to carry a council license to do so, this means they have been assessed as fit and suitable and safe for boarding. Id ofer to help but we only take hounds as we have 6 here already. anna.x.
