Hi, I am hoping to travel from the UK to Canada for 2 weeks then fly to both Los Angeles and San Francisco for a week each before finally flying to Las Vegas for a final week before flying back to the UK. I am a bit confused which (if any) visas I would need as I would be flying to the USA from Canada so is that any different as I am a UK citizen? Thanks, Emma

If you are a UK Citizen, you do not need a visa for Canada. Read this. (http://www.canada.org.uk/visa-info/visitor/e_brit.htm)
For USA Read this. (http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web/visa/niv/vwp.htm)
Under normal circumstances, you have an up-to-date, machine-readable passport, you are a UK Citizen, you are flying in, you have a return ticket to the UK, proof of funds/credit cards to finance your stay, know the name of hotel or friends where you are staying ..... then you are OK and you will not need an advance visa and you will complete a Visa Waiver Form on entry.
