Hi guys,
I had just return from collecting my photos from Jessop after sending it online for printing. The quality of the photos were bad, the contrast were too strong though I selected print "as is" during my order. I always edits my photos in terms of contrast, brightness etc before have it printed. So my guess is that those online order were printed in machines which have its contrast tuned up to cater for majority users who print straight out of camera. Most of my photos came back over exposed with details in the highlight washed out, or shadow became total black. Anyone have the same experience here?
I think I will ask for reprint, but not sure if they will use "as is" or let their machine default (adjusted) "as is" values when I resubmit my order again online (as required for online order). :P
