any1 got any ideas how i convert a `xvid'?

i wanted to put it to mpeg or something so i could burn to dvd but tmpeg says its `unsupported file'

VSO divx to dvd will do the trick....

which program are u using?

tmpgenc is good, but that converts to mpg then dvd.

i use winavi which ive found excellent, 45mins from avi (divx, xvid) to dvd.

then burn it with nero6

www.free-codecs.com has some good stuff for all formats

You could also try MPEG Mediator (http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/mpeg_mediator.html) that will convert almost all formats into..... almost all formats;).


It's a bit involved, but is highly configurable and it's freeware:thumbsup:.
