Our Buns had babies 7 weeks ago and one of them is nodding. It started when it was about a month old. It looks like one of those nodding dogs you have in back of cars. It also runs round in circles. It's feeding and drinking fine and plays. She pushes her way into the food and isn't left out. I just wondered if anyone had seen anything like this.
In 13 years of keeping rabbits (had over 20), I've never come across this before.
They are house buns as well

Aww thats strange isn't it? I never heard of anything like that before either, I wonder if the little bun has a bit of brain damage... sounds happy enough either way bless it

Is the rabbit a REW (red eyed white)?
How is she carrying her head?
Does she respond to visual stimulants?
Does he frequently shake her head?
Possible causes are EC, brain damage, stroke or fit, inner ear infection, nerve/spinal damage or possibly a tumour or internal abcess.

No she's a half dutch. Her head when nodding is to the side and her eyes wobble.
Shes goes for veg ie if we hold a stick of celery in she comes for it usually first if mum not got there first.

I would say ear infection. Get it to the vets asap.

We had a bun in at the vets that was doing this, it was a pet shop bunny and unfortunately had to be put to sleep (some brain or nerve damage). I hope it's just an ear infection xx

She needs to see the vets for an examination and some stimuli tests.
If its an inner ear infection a course of antibiotics can be prescribed and it should clear up but IEI can cause further problems if left untreated.
If its brain damage she may well be able to live a comfortable life but will probably need specialist care and it will likely be shorter than the average rabbits.
It may be an idea to panacur all the bunnies incase its related to an EC leision on the brain.
