When I opened the curtains this morning my spirit lifted. Such a glorious Spring day just perfect for a walk in the Peaks.

Am off to get my boots in the car now and pack up some lunch.

What will you do/did you do today?

At present I'm nursing the hangover from hell. I'm going to force myself to get dressed in a minute and go outside for some fresh air though...

Im busy dying my hair at the moment,.

I popped down the shops with my little brother this morning while it was still sunny, to get my curry ingredients for the meal Im making my boyfriend tonight, and also to treat Ross to some sweeties.

The rest of the day will be spent either on the net or playing animal crossing on the game cube :)

I'm still in bed with this crappy flu - very glad I didn't force my self to go out last night!

Just hoping the sunshine will stay so I can enjoy a sunny afternoon at the pub when I have my sunday dinner 2moro!

I hope this means spring is here. Remember this time last week it was snowing!

I'm going into town later. Not very exciting really.

I agree it's a beautiful day as was Thursday early on. It does lift your spirits to see the sun and hear the birds chirping happily away. Went to the gym at 9am. En route ( via country lane ) saw lots of joggers/walkers etc. Got home had a cooked breakfast ( I know it's defeating the object ) went to Tesco to do a quick shop then busied myself with jobs in the house. I really should get out in the garden I suppose and give it a good tidy up - burn off my cooked breakfast :-)

Guess that was the mantra she forgot ;) :P :hihi:

My head is a bit fudgy, but its nothing that a shower, a walk, and a dirty great pasty wont cure :D Although, Mitzi has me thinking about a proper cooked breakfast now

Was gonna go out at some point today but have just discovered I'm skint so have cleaned my bike and am just sat here trying to think of something cheap and interesting to do.

There'll be other days I guess. :(

I got the train to Milton Keynes for a wedding dress fitting. It's nearly ready  And damn does it look good :D (beautiful isn't a word for a leather dress)

The train stopped at Birmingham international, and I had great difficulty not getting off and heading for Crufts :D

All the scenery on the way looked stunning bathed in sunlight

It was a wonderful day, it had that smell of early spring in the air. Not long now until the daffs'll be out everywhere!

I took the dog for a stroll along the Don, on the Five Weirs Walk.

We took the baby to Cleethorpes, and bought her a tiny portion of fish and chips. Best day ever.

I met my mum and a friend out at Hathersage and had a nice 5 mile walk in the sunshine and fresh air (I'm trying to prevent the evil flu thing taking hold...its trying!!!)
Then I went off to cheer the b/f up who has REAL man-flu ;)

Went out to meet someone in the afternoon, must say it was a really nice day.

When I walk the dog there is somewhere I stand and look out into the hills and Derbyshire countryside. I do it in the daytime and I love to do it at night when the sky is clear, have just been now and it was a beautiful sight, no clouds just looking at the stars very little light pollution to spoil it. I could here the noises from the nearest farm, no traffic going past and the gentle breeze whistling past me. was very tranquil, if only I had someone to stand with me to enjoy it :(

Looks like another good day is upon us again today. I'm just getting ready for another walk out to my favourite look out spot. Then it's to the gym and the Devonshire cat tonight

It's out to Derbyshire for me and Miss Angel today. Had a nice walk last weekend but lack of an inhaler meant we couldn't go too far so it's 'take 2' and we're off to do some more hill walking this time. :)

After that we're off to Mum's for pizza. :D

We went to Treeton Dyke. If you were there around 4pm and saw a kid fall into the water from a ski-jump ramp that was my brother!
