YAY! Bank Holiday!

With the prospect of an extra day's recovery on the cards this weekend, we're planning a blimmin good knees up down at DQ with two of our favourite DJs in the whole world! And we're making this a very good Friday by offering free entry before midnight to everyone who signs up to our facebook event page - hurrah!

Breakbeat maestro, Kickflip is a loveable rogue whose stomp-inducing skills behind the turntables have left many a dancefloor in total disrepair. With this in mind, we've coated DQ's floor in kevlar for his performance tonight so you can do your best riverdance impression, b-boy stance or total thrash-out and it won't leave a mark. Fat! records picked a winner when they signed our boy Kickflip to join the likes of Unique 3, Merka and Baobinga so you'd do well to come check out his weighty selection of rotund rumblers.

Some of you may recall Geoff Ticehurst was an Urban Gorilla DJ in a previous life, when UG was but a nipper. His genre defying sets take you on a journey through the most booty wobbling, body jackin dancefloor stormers on the planet. Prone to a cuddle, feel free to show your appreciation for his set with a friendly hug but don't offer him any peas - they're his nemesis.
