Does anyone use and/or would recommend the Littermaid?

They look pretty fantastic, but I can't find any stockists in the UK. Might be an import-only, unless someone knows different. Medusa, Katkin, multiple cat owners...?

Seen it on show at the Supreme. I took one look and thought- how do you clean sloppy pooh off those thin plastic teeth that rake the soiled litter? Seemed an awful lot of money and it only suits certain types of litter.

Clumping only, yeah... hadn't thought about things like kitty diarrhoea. Experienced it once, never want to go through that again :gag: - just thankful I was using litter tray liners! Perhaps tried and tested is the best way to go, then :)

Don't get me wrong- if I WON one or got asked to get my lot to trial one for Your Cat magazine, I'd jump at the chance, but I did think those raking teeth were a bit flimsy

Hi, not sure if this helps but I've got a roll and clean litter box made by omega paw and it's great. Easy to use and you can use any litter I use Netto stuff and it's fine! You just roll it and the clean litter goes in the bottom and dirty in a draw at the top. I use dog poo bags to empty the draw into then just bin it.

They are about £40-£50 in shops but you can get them a lot cheaper on ebay about £20-£30 depending on size.

I had a look at those too - interesting you can use any litter, I was sure they were quite specific about what litters could be used successfully with that brand. I may give it another look...
