My husband recently returned from a trip to China, and he brought me a 1GB pqi intelligent drive i810. My problem is that my computer won`t recognise it. On the back of the packaging, it says to go to www.pqimemory.com and download the latest user`s manual application programme. I`ve looked, but am at a loss as to know what to download. Can anyone help me out here please? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Well the downloads for drivers & software for that are here (http://www.pqi.com.tw/download.asp?PID=3), but it shouldn't need anything for XP, I don't see any drivers for anything other than Windows 98.

Does anything happen when you plug it in? It should at least tell you it's found something, if it doesn't you may have a duff stick.

Ok, I think the problem lies with my hubby`s computer, as I`ve just tried it on mine and it seeme to be working fine.Thanks for your time though, at least I know I wasn`t doing anything wrong.And you`re right there, would have been a heck of a treck to change it if it hadn`t been any good, especially as the dang thing cost less than a fiver !
