Thank you to everyone who entered our recent Environment & Wildlife photographic competition. It was a great success with over 200 entries, but after much deliberation, the winners have finally been decided!

We notified all the winners of the photo competition by letter last week. So unfortunately unless you have received a letter, you are not a winner. Photos will be returned by the end of March.

Can I suggest that the competition be run over the summer as well? I wanted to enter but I didn't managed to get out in the peaks this winter at all. I took plenty of pictures in Berlin, Poland and Scotland this winter, but alas they could not be entered into this competition.

I guess it doesn't really matter when the closing date is. I've got all summer to take piccies anyway. Will pictures taken before the opening date be acceptable in next years competition?

I'm looking forward to seeing this year's winning entries on the tram stops.

Yes you can take photos now, you will be able to submit photos from last summer, this summer & next... we've not decided the closing date yet, but there will be a big enough window of time to allow people to get out & about.
