Is there anywhere that I can go 'off road' and let the kids have a drive around in the Sheffield, South Yorks area?

I went to a quarry in Telford that advertises on the net and it scared the hell out of me. There must be something nearer that is out of the way and more subtle.

There is an old airfield up norton way where u can take the kids to have a drive i think.

Yeha you can do it up norton. Itwill caost a couple of quid but it's ok.

Make sure you et n the open bit is they have never drover before though.

It was ok when i learned.
