Hi everyone could anyone point me in the direction of a swimming tutor who is willing to teach me to swim on a 1 to 1 basis willing to pay generally tutorial fees. I would be most grateful for any info Thanks

I'm learning at ponds forge but its not one on one. Think i read about them doing something like that but you could ring them to find out. The number for the swimming lessons office is 01142233453. A local pool might be more likely to offer one to one lessons. where are you based?

New Westfield pool - waterthorpe has ladies only Monday nights 7:30 - maybe worth asking there (or at any ladies only session?)

Thanks Emmie I have had dealings with Ponds Forge already and my problem is that I have certain disabilities with back and neck probs. They said they did not have enough staff to do 1 to 1 but I could take someone with me to help in the pool. Also they said the water temperature is only 27 degrees which might be too cold for some people who have disabilities.

Thanks SHarpend also I was advised at the time that Westfield do deal with people who have walking moving problems and their pool was warmer so sent them an email 4 weeks ago and havent had a reply my next step is to ring them and also to start asking certain Gyms like Greens on Napier Street They used to have a lady instructor a couple of years ago who did private lessons but unfortunately when I was due to start the lessons I was taken ill. but thanks for your replies I will let you know how I go on

I think Heely will do 1-1 adult swimming lessons.
