Can anyone help? I'm organising my hen night and am trying to find a restaurant in the Sheffield city centre which has a lively atmosphere - somewhere where there is a bit of live music or dancing. I know the Mad Greek is pretty good but I'm trying to get a few options together.

I think the Mad Greek has closed down, there is a greek restaurant in Dronfield though, I think it's called the Greedy Greek - they have live music & dancing.

Viva Tequila at Gleadless Townend - they encourage dancing!
They do Italian & Mexican food, which isn't too bad, especially if you wash it down with PLENTY of wine!

K'Pasa (top of Glossop Road) gets really lively aswell, and the food is good.

Or how about going to a theme night at a hotel, where you get a meal and a tribute band & disco? They do 80's nights, ABBA night's etc at the Moathouse at Meadowhead.

cheers, have a good one!

Can definately recommend K'Pasa, excellent food and fantastic atmosphere!

Didn't like Viva Tequila. Was full of 'hen night' types when we went. Some may disagree but it's in a horrible setting and just not my type of place at all. But then again, i am a snob lol.

Thanks for that, I might give K'Pasa a try as it's near plenty of other bars. I've been there before, years ago, and the food was pretty good too...
