We have 3 home games on the trot... Palace, stoke cov, can we fight off relegation ?? or are we condemned to league one again ??

Despite the effects of yesterdays results, I dont think a point against Coventry is that bad a result. It was certainly a better result for us than for them.

Whether we'll win enough games to stay up, I wouldnt like to say, but we have enough games to do it - we'll have no excsuses if we dont.

Hard to see Owls getting anything out of Stoke, and maybe only a point against Palace who are still fighting to go up ... beating Coventry at home is a must.

You'd probably best hope that the Blades win all their games between now and the derby match, because if we look like sneaking a playoff spot it's pretty much nailed on that you'll go and beat us at home and deprive us of it :D

Disagree mate,4/5 points from them games and id be happy. We still have to play teams around us which will decide how we finish the season.

i think we have enough about us to stay up. we"ve got like 3 new signings to come back in simek, watson an jeffers ( well maybe 2) an looking at the games coming up their all winnable. may be if we win them all we can sneak into the playoffs.[o my god i"m starting to talk stupid like a blunt]:roll::help::help:

9 games, 27 points, would give you 70 - it might be enough.

Nothing stupid about realising you have a mathematical chance, as long as you know just how unlikely it is. I've been saying for two weeks that we Blades probably need to win 11 out of 11 - well, we got the first three. Now we need 8 out of 8, which is still very unlikely, but .. hey. We got the first bit done.

Owls.....

The chances of you lot surviving the drop in May, are probably as likely as a Seaside Donkey winning this years Grand National.

Think you'll struggle in league 1 for a couple of years before going into League 2. In that league (league 2) though, I guess you will be favourites for the Title

difficult games we've got left, so not sure really. it will go down to last game i would think, doubt we will be relegated if we lose against blades, just keeping everything crossed

Sheff Wed.

To all you owls who think Wednesday can beat the drop. NOt even a Keven Keegan level of optomism can save you from the trap door.

The concept of the Owls staying up, is as silly as putting a bet on for the Match against Palace, predicting a home win.

I stopped caring about football years ago but I'd much rather see Wednesday go up than United, the function suite at Leppings Lane is much nicer than the one at Bramall Lane.

It certainly won't be enough on its own, and even if you lose every game between now and then, I don't think it would clinch your fate.

no, not on its own. depends what team decides to turn up between now and end of season and we have got a couple of players due back, so you never know

Hmmmmmmmm if you think that is unlikely then thinking that L**ds would will go up is about as likely as England winning a penalty shoot out in a major tournament:hihi: with all the really GREAT teams dropped points against recently, bottom of the table Port Vale & 4th bottom cheltenham!:hihi:

Moderately good news for the Owls tonight, both Scunthorpe and Colchester lost. I say "moderately" because those two teams were below you and look like going down anyway, but they look more like going down now. At least you can focus on overtaking a team above you and not worry about being caught from below.

The Blades, of course, with their barely-flickering-but-just-not-quite-dead playoff hopes, would have preferred both teams to win and deprive high-table teams of points.

These games for the blue lot are massive.
Get 5 or 6 points and that could just about do it get 3 or less, that would cause big problems.
The club needs big support for these games so it will be interesting to see how many fans will turn up.
