Fantastic!

When will everyone see that he cant handle the pressure in the premiership??? He starts off ok and then it goes downhill and pearshaped at light speed.

What really gets me is that City fans still hold themselves in such high esteem that they think they'll get Martin O'Neill. City are a has been club.

Will he be able to command another job in the Premiership? He really shouldn't. When the going gets tough he seems to want to bail out too easily.

He was a great player in his day and I think he would have done as good as Sven has done with the England job had he kept on, perhaps he should have slept on his decision.

Fabulous player, poor manager, despite what some Geordies might think. They - the press that is - reckon his departure is connected to the board's reluctance to sign an unknown player as a fill-in for Shaun Wright-Philips. More likely, SWP is on his way out and Kev's got the blog on.

I also agree with the post that says Man City fans are deluded into thinking they're a big, progressive club. Big ground does not mean big club. Impressive ground does not mean impressive football - certainly in City's case.

Let's remember Keegan the player. There isn't anything else to remember him by.....

...apart from the Brut 33 ad, ofcause!

That's true Kirky, he just wants to be Mr nice guy and in football management it doesn't work.

often wondered how a manager sits in an office with a 17-18 year old lad (usually with his parents present) and tells them they aint good enough or telling blokes they are past it...i couldn't do it especially to the young'ns.

Erm....no. But Warnock may consider retiring if we don't go up, at the minute that doesn't look likely because so many teams are in form and we've hit a bad patch.

Which fans have said this? Only certain papers have mentioned this as far as I'm aware. As for being a has-been club well their current league position would indicate that that is not the case especially considering that only a few years ago we were playing pathetically poor football in the 2nd division. Despite this, Maine Road used to sell out regularly for league games even though our well-off neighbours were going through a period of great success.

If Pearce doesn't get the job then is seems Stachen is the favourite, closely followed by Dowie. It will be a difficult task for any manager going there, £62 million in debt is not a healthy position to be in.

Pearce has got to be the man for the job surely?

He's doing a great job and all the players want to play for him.

They are on the verge of a Uefa cup place, the final game of the season Man City v Middlesborough both fighting for that same place. Should be a great match.

Well the papers have Eddie Jordan buying MCFC and Strachan coming in as manager before the start of the new season.

It would explain why Strachan has turned down so many clubs recently :heyhey:
