The F1 (http://www.formula1.com/) website has a natty little 'local time' converter for practice, qualifying and race times (pane on right of website home page).

Anybody staying up for it? It works out quite well with the cricket times and the first GP of the year is the start of summer for me

Natty = neat, trim and smart.

What's on TV = magazine world's equivalent of Blackpool.

I got up early to watch it - couldn't risk the BBC doing their usual trick of ruining my day by announcing the result (but no other detail) before I'd watched it. Why oh why do they do that? Fair enough if they provided any kind of depth to the coverage, but they just seem intent on ruining anyone's day with a one-liner announcing the winner.
And it's worth recording the live one for the swearing. Go Coulthard!

I saw the qualifying on Friday night but didn't get up for the race, however I managed to avoid the result until I got home and watched it taped :)

Why wouldn't they? Not doing it can only have one possible effect; sending viewers to watch ITV. How would that benefit the Beeb?

The only way to watch is live, i'm sure true F1 fans will agree. David Coulthard's swearing rant over Massa on live tv was edited out of the re-run!

At least Sepang is at a more reasonable time this weekend.
