my daughter is turning 18 in june,any ideas on what to get her other than jewellery,would like something dfferent,im not loaded though,lol

Things I loved that I got for my 18th and still have over 10 yrs later:
A framed print.
A suitcase!
A photograph album that was made especially for me and filled with photos from my 18yrs. You can have them made by bookbinders - I know of 2 in Sheffield and had 1 made for my sister's 21st with a drawing of her and myself on the front cover.

Has she got a digital camera - you can decent ones that are not too expensive now but it's not a very sentimental pressie. Then again neither is a suitcase...

Without knowing what your daughters interests are, it's difficult to say. Jewellery is a really good one to go for, and if you've not got much cash, mybe choose something classy in silver, or something second hand from one of the quality jewellers?
