I really hoped they would come through but once again they just fell short.
I heard Theiry Henry say a couple of days ago that he wants to win the premiership most of all and would be disappointed if they didn't win it. It sounded like he still believed they were in with a shout. I'm afraid I think he is going to be disappointed.
Arsenal only have a chance of lifting the FA cup but I think they might struggle with Bolton. Bolton play the Sheffield Utd style of Long balls/Long throws etc, but are much better at it than Sheffield Utd. This style of play seems to give Arsenal fits.
Hang on we do not play long ball footy all the time,last week against Cardiff we tried the long ball & lost but we played Crewe off the park & they are a decent footballing side,Bassett has gone.Also we played Arsenal off the park in the 2nd match posession 58%.Arsenal will never win the european cup,for 1 reason no British players,look at Chelsea a English player scored the winning goal.UP THE BLADES

Glad to see Liverpool go further than Arsenal in the competition, would put a small bet on them winning it as the odds must be great!

As exciting as that would be, I'm not sure I like the possibilty of getting beaten by Chelsea for a fourth time this season.
Who knows what could happen though? Expectation would he extremely high for Chelsea, Liverpool could cath them off guard if they make it through.
I've always hated Arsenal, ever since they beat Wednesday in both cups back in 1990-whatever, causing the Owls to slip further down and down into Ye Olde Division Three.
Yes, I understand that probably none of thatArsenal squad are still playing, but then I've never bothered to study this particular hatred rationally.

And while we are on the subject, how come Inter v Porto is next week? Why couldn't they have played this match in Tuesday at the San Siro instead of Wednesday?
