Prior to yesterday if bored at work I'd nip on here for two minutes. I'd come back to whatever piece of work I was doing and feel refreshed from the break.

It's all changed now I've swapped desks with my manager and am no longer sat in the corner, everybody can see my screen. I may now have to start doing some work :o:o:o.

So everybody what do you do when your bopred at work, but can't go on the internet. I was thinking about taking up oragami, they'll just think I'm making notes or something.

There's nowt worse than actually having to do work at work. I sympathise deeply with your situation. :(

I do have my suspicions about your manager's reason for swapping desks though... is s/he a forum member?? I would look into this, as a time-share system for the corner desk could be agreed upon if you blackmail him/her appropriately. :hihi:

Did you really just nip on here for 2 minutes at a time? I come on for 10 mins and leave 6 or 7 hours later! :D

Have you considered putting on lots of weight and wearing a huge coat and a top hat so that your bulk blots out your manager's view of the screen?

WE were moved to new offices a few years ago and one of the girls hated where she sat so she just kept bursting into tears and saying "I can't work sitting here!!" Worth a Go?? :hihi:
