I wasn't able to get to it because we were at the Waitrose garage filling up but a large shaggy brown dog went trotting purposefully by tonight just before 6pm - at first I thought it's owner must be close behind but as it headed towards the back of Waitrose and the subway, I saw it had a lead attached to it- so I'm guessing it has an anxious owner somewhere looking for it. I tried to go after it, but it was long gone by the time I got to the corner - just hope it got back to its owner...
