I have submitted my company website to this forum several times for inclusion in the Sheffield Links section under Local Businesses.

My link has never appeared and I have have not had a reply to any of my emails either.

I am doing something wrong?

My guess would be as it is a 'family forum' and assuming it is the link in your signature that it is deemed not appropiate for the children. However it is rude not to have recieved a reply, perhaps there is on the way.

I know the mods will say email Geoff, but if you haven't recieved any answers to your emails there is no reason you would expect one this time.

edit:- You sure your emailing it to the correct address?

Hmm, this seems a common problem, I run an I.T. Services Company and tried to get a listing in the Business Services - I submitted my details and have had no response.

I'm wondering whether you need to be close personal friend of the moderator to actually get listed or are we talking kickbacks.

I smell a rat a big dirty rat !

p.s. If a kickback is required - how much and to whom is it payable ?

Well,

As far as I know, no kick backs, no rats to be smelt. We don't take or expect bribes. And robace, try not to use your first posting here to generally accuse those of us running the site of corruption. It's libellous and doesn't help you make friends.

Could just be something as simple as it fell between the cracks - I seem to remember that I submitted a site of mine some time ago and it didn't show either.

The behind the scenes running of the site is voluntary, so we sometimes get caught up in the day jobs. Or we end up writing code for the site long after midnight and such.

If you have an issue, use the 'Contact Us' page to e-mail Geoff.

I'll close this thread now, and hope that you guys can contact us and we can resolve the issue.
