I need to get some photos printed fairly quickly (ie today!) as I need to get them in the post tomorrow. My printer at home has run out of ink so not got that option today!

Can anyone recommend anywhere (in town) that does a fast printing service, and not too expensive?

anywhere will do them in an hour i think - boots, jessops etc but they charge alot more for the fast turn around - obviously

thanks - I ended up going to Jacobs, trouble is they couldnt read my CD. They tried in three of their pc's and it wouldn't open. I'd been looking at the photos on the cd only about 30 mins earlier on my laptop. Came back and was still able to open it on my laptop so not sure what the problem is. ????

I might stick the pics on a memory card tonight and try again tomorrow. They're doing 100 6x4 prints for £6.99 or 100 7x5 prints for £9 which seems like a good deal - providing they can open your pictures of course ;-)

I went back to Jacobs today - took the same cd with me (which had worked fine on 2 laptops at home) but I'd also copied my pics onto an SD card just in case. Good job I did as the cd wouldn't work again on the machines at Jacobs. I had a chat with one of the guys there and he said its a known problem with the Kodak software they use not working with any files that are copied to CD from a pc/laptop that is running Windows Vista.

The ones on the memory card were fine, so it must be the way Vista writes to CDs that upsets it!
