I remember the days of watching headbangers ball, vanessa warwick used to make me laugh so much. Bless her, she tried her best!

Anyway get signing! It's about time we had something regular back.

Anyone else got any good memories of this programme?

I remember Chris Cornell being on it, in the old days when he still had long hair ....mmmmm!

MTV2 brought Headbangers Ball back sometime last year, can't see it on their schedule at the moment though, so it may be on a break for a while.:(

Did they?! Didn't see that and I'm always flicking through music channels. How could I have missed it!

My god, I missed it too!

I think it was on midnight til 2am on a Sunday (night), then repeated later in the week.

It wasn't as good (or should that be bad...but in a good way??)as when Vanessa did it, or even Kristiane Backer, who used to do it before Vanessa.

Are we wanting to fetch Vanessa back as well??

I was a big fan of The Almighty and Vanessa was Ricky Warwick's Wife, who was the vocalist for The Almighty, they used to get plenty of coverage.

There was also plenty of coverage for Alice in Chains which were another of my favourites.

That's a point, Vanessa and Ricky split up, so has she gone back to her maiden name? Wouldn't be the same!

the prob with headbanger ball is.....

who you gonna have on it? linkin park, papa roach, limp bizkit?... all bands that i listen to but find a bit dull..


the fun has gone out of a lot of rock bands.

:( although i still listen to a hell of a lot of music.... bout 80% doesnt even get into kerrang!! so i doubt it would get on TV.
