Calling all local bands, it's time to pick up your guitars and turn up your amps with the launch of 'Carling Supports' to coincide with the opening of Carling Academy Sheffield. Carling Supports offers local bands the chance to showcase their music and be amongst the first bands on the bill at Carling Academy 2.

4 heats will be held in venues in the city centre, with the winners of each heat landing a gig at the Carling Academy 2 on Thursday 17th April.

My son plays drums for Dead Like Harry so i know they can't make Wednesday, which is a shame, but i'd like to know who is on.
