You would have thought that a home game with QPR would have meant no trouble before the game on the tram but think again.
I was on the tram when it kicked off saturday and saw the scum of west London attack several Wednesday fans and non football fans also. In trying to stop the attck I got for my trouble a punch at the back of the head and a nasty shin kick.
This all could have been avoided if the south yorkshire police force showed any brains and simply got on the tram to escort these thugs to the ground, which they had the opportunity in doing but to my dismay just let them on the tram in town, with cans of lager and a very sour attitude to those around them.
I would like to finish by not letting these morons spoil my enjoyment and would plead with the authorities to make arrests next time before it gets out of habd.

There's the rub right there.
They should have taken these morons out of circulation until after the game.

The police let them into the ground after this? You must be joking! Are you sure about this???

The tram i was on was peaceful, in fact me and a mate had a nice conversation to a QPR fan.
I have always wondered why they don't have a couple of police on the trams beforehand though

i know still letting them in the ground seems so un fair i mean if tney were seen surely they should be arrested but im guessing it was easier for them to be put away quietly.
No one was willing to comeforward also it was that bad
