I have been searching for a baby cap pattern and managed to find this:

So thought I would share it with you :)
That is nice. I wonder if I could size it up to an earflap hat for me...? :)
I still think this (http://acechick.typepad.com/knitchicks_patterns/2006/01/strawberry_bean.html) is the best baby hat ever though! :D

I love the tomato beanie hat, I wish I could knit !!
My new little girl would look so sweet in that.

Go to The Wool Baa and see Jill, she'll get you started ;) Easy Peasy - Honest :D

Sorry, I might be being really silly here but what is the wool baa ?
I should say at this point that I have taught myself to crochet and can work a basic knit stitch but I doubt that I could knit something recognisable (sp?) I really struggle to cast on and have no clue how to cast off.

The Wool Baa is a wool shop (that sells other things too - crafty) and it is at Hunters Bar. Very friendly and helpful - you can learn to knit there. :help:

Thank you for that, I will have to go and have a look once I am allowed to drive again (emergency c - section less than 6 weeks ago).
Oh, how nice (not the c section), a brand new baby. Jill will love that!! Children (even mine) and babies always welcome. Mention my name - oh, on second thoughts scrap that :hihi:
