Longcol 09-03-2008, 01:27 All Yorkshire folk should get behind the Dingles. Perfect result would be Barnsley lifting the Cup and Thatcher popping her clogs at the same moment. donuticus 09-03-2008, 01:29 West Brom are 9/1 might chuck a couple of quid on that I think. emmie 09-03-2008, 01:53 Barnsley!!!!! Agent Gypo 09-03-2008, 09:44 I'd love for Barnsly to win the FA Cup, but I think Portsmouth might just do it... Titanic99 09-03-2008, 12:20 All Yorkshire folk should get behind the Dingles. Perfect result would be Barnsley lifting the Cup and Thatcher popping her clogs at the same moment. Or, having her funeral at exactly the same time as Barnsley parade the cup around the mining villages:hihi: growler 09-03-2008, 12:29 Portsmouth, with the luck they have going for them it's hard to back against them. I think their name is already on it, much as I would like to see a Championship side win it. john barratt 09-03-2008, 12:47 Ive voted west brom , but good luck Barnsley:loopy: freyasdad 09-03-2008, 13:57 All Yorkshire folk should get behind the Dingles. Perfect result would be Barnsley lifting the Cup and Thatcher popping her clogs at the same moment. If only. You forgot United doing the unthinkable and winning every game between now and the end of the season and Wednesday getting relegated.:) SpiderPete 09-03-2008, 14:23 I'd love for Barnsly to win the FA Cup, but I think Portsmouth might just do it... Have to agree here, although I would love Barnsley to win it looks like Portsmouth to me. slimsid2000 09-03-2008, 15:10 All Yorkshire folk should get behind the Dingles. Perfect result would be Barnsley lifting the Cup and Thatcher popping her clogs at the same moment. You forgot to mention Arthur Scargill getting a Knighthood on the same day:loopy: Baz1 09-03-2008, 15:13 whoever wins it, the sponsors of wembley are the biggest losers- imagine what they were dreaming of- one(or two) of the big 4 in the final and now it looks like possibly a modest premiership team v a championship side? Not exactly mouthwatering and even MOTD will have less excitement come May. Heyesey 09-03-2008, 16:22 We now have Portsmouth (last won the FA Cup in 1939), Cardiff (1927) and Barnsley (1912); to be joined by either West Brom (1968) or Bristol Rovers (never!) Someone's fans are going to have the day of a lifetime... Clare85 09-03-2008, 18:17 I'm going for West Brom. Despite what everyone is saying I will look forward to watching it. There is nothing worse and more boring than watching two top premiership teams. It's what makes the cup exciting! Robbie Loving 09-03-2008, 20:47 Ive voted west brom , Me too. They can raise their game against anyone.... Well apart from the crapper teams :D treeko 09-03-2008, 21:28 Don't know but I wish I had had a bet on Cardiff,Barnsley,Portsmouth and Scotland(in the RU).I wouldn't have had to go to work tomorrow. HIMGODDESS 11-03-2008, 19:15 I don't care who wins....just glad that its not Man Utd! still can't seem to stop grinning..... Heyesey 15-03-2008, 23:58 is wonderin is it a coincidence that so many commentators said has the fa cup lost its magic, and now all of a sudden it seems to have re found it Hardly. It's so low down the priority list of the big clubs now that it's almost disappeared off the radar; consequently they don't try as hard, they're conserving themselves for games that are actually important. briggy1967 16-03-2008, 21:56 Hardly. It's so low down the priority list of the big clubs now that it's almost disappeared off the radar; consequently they don't try as hard, they're conserving themselves for games that are actually important. Cant believe any football fan would consider an F.A Cup game to be unimportant Its the best Domestic Club Cup Competition in the World and is followed by millions abroad, fair enuff its number 3 on list of priorities of Top 4 Premier Teams but to the rest it means a hell of a lot to due to the financial value and the chance of European qualification walterssss 17-03-2008, 11:42 i think... Barnsley!!! |
