I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE AT HALFWAY AND WE ARE ON A WATER METER. IS ANYONE FORM THIS AREA ON A WATER METER AND HOW MUCH DO YOU USUALLY PAY??

Don't worry, I was in exactly the same situation as you a few years back and the worry is needless.

Our water bill comes twice a year and is usually between £100 and £150 each bill. I reckon this works out at at least half of what it would have been under the old system.

Family of 4, largish house, washer going about 12 times a week, baths and showers every day, occasional car wash, garden watering in summer all included.

We are with Severn Trent though YW deals with the waste. Hope this helps.

I live at Halfway and my water supplier is Seven Trent i had a water meter fitted and it costs me only £10.00 per month.
