£20m for Torres is (your right) an absolute snip. If Liverpool were to sell him now they could demand anything upto around the £50m mark. He and Gerrard are as good a combining pair at the moment as any pairing in world football and if Babel carries on the way he is and Rafa continues to pick his best 11 (as he has done recently) then Liverpool will be a match for anyone. A couple of world class players in the summer (Querisma and Villa being widely tipped) added to the squad and we might just be there or there abouts.

Why oh why didn't Benitez use this formation (4-2-3-1) from the start of the season? If he had then maybe Liverpool would be challenging the leaders right now instead of just holding off the Bitters!
