The plants have a very strong aroma about them Peaches, it could get quite overwhelming in the house.

Otherwise grow any variety, but they all require lots of water & free drainage too. :)

I tried outside last year too - they started off well and then DROWNED in all the rain! Lots of people said it wasn't a good year. I think you can grown them on a windowsill and there are some that you can grow in hanging baskets that give yoiu LOADs of toms. (I'll try and remember where I saw that). I agree with Don that inside they might be too overpowering a smell.

I have always grow my toms outside in large buckets and have never had any problems (apart from them blowing over). Providing they are in a place with lots of sunshine and slightly sheltered from the wind they should be fine. Last year was a terrible year for tomotoes and veggies.

I'm going to grow Minibell ones, really compact plants hopefully will be ideal for my windowsill. Bought seeds in Wilkinsons for pennies!

I've grown similar to these before in a sunny window
