Don't know if this is the right place, but our Sky is awful at the moment, not all channels tho.
It keeps freezing, and cracking up, don't know if this is due to the wind having moved the dish.
Can anyone help with a diagnosis. Thank you.
Had the same problem with ours freezing on Monday. Did the usual of leaving it unplugged for 10mins, gave the card a wipe and been OK since.
Check the signal strength in the settings - possible cable loose or dish mis alignment. If thats ok, try a re-boot. Next try a forced update, if that doesnt work get Sky on the phone, your box could be on the way out.

You can try resetting the LNB power and the 22Khz signal from a hidden system menu.
Press Services
Press 401
Press select
go into the LNB menu
Change the LNB power and 22 Khz Command from ON to OFF.
Save settings.
Give it 10 seconds and then change the 2 settings back to ON and save settings again.
Press Sky button to go back to TV.
This doesn't always work, but it could indicate a problem with the LNB (new ones around £4 on fleabay).
