I hope people dont mind me putting this in the in here aswell as general discussion area. I have put a link in the Derek Dooley thread.

I have started a petition for the erection of a statue in memory of Derek Dooley. I feel this is the least the man deserved not just for his contributions to BOTH Sheffield football teams but to the city and the people of Sheffield.

Please take a moment to read some of the comments (there are some are really touching memories and tributes to the man). Some are from as far afield as Canada and Australia. if people cannot make it down to sign the book of condolence then feel free to use the comments section as it will be passed on.

Any ideas on where to publicise this further would be greatly welcomed as it is something that is very important to me.
