Very fine sockies Wheezy.

So what has just come off my needles then - quite literally the start of the Alaid slippery sock I was struggling with last night as the nasty 'join' and mistakes were annoying me...though it has been rewound and is now being knit as a plain sock:)

My hands have just come off my needles, I broke my right arm this afternoon, so won't be knitting for a few weeks, I'm right handed & am already frustrated not being able to move with this splint on & typing with 1 of my left fingers is frustrating too

Broken arm - that's a downer. It looks like there's reading in your future then.

They are for dolls, the dress is for a 17in doll & the other set is for a 10in doll, I've also just finished a bolero for a little bridesmaid but can't sew it up now, the wedding isn't till July so I'm glad I started it early.
Great gloves beansforyou my daughter now wants a pair in pink
These painkillers from hospital seem to be taking some effect on me now, I'm mis-spelling my words, I'd better go for a nap, I will be back later with a picture of some free wool someone on here might make use of

Happy to help people get started with crochet. HAve just sewn up the outside of the blanket - have all the ends to do. And the teddy bears are just waiting for the last bits to be knitted and then sewn up. Have just started the back of a cushion started at the Rowan weekend. Socks are waiting for a little while. Although I finished my first pair of Jaywalkers and am now knitting Tumbling Blocks.

I have a hat (http://www.flickr.com/photos/16444176@N02/2318135881/), my son has deemed it to be a whacked sunflower which I suppose is better than being a torpedohead. I have another entrelac hat on the go but it is screamingly bright and in need of navy dye to tame it a bit.

I saw that last night when trawling Ravelrey and thought it looked lovely! Do you think you might wear this one?

Now that looks like a good warm hat that won't blow off in a gale. I love it!

I like the hat, I really like the shape but the colours are a bit blah. It was a really fun knit and I might (one day) knit it again in something brighter, one colour for each round of squares.
