I went to see this film last night with an open mind. I knew not to take it too seriously as Jack Black was in it. Some of it was quite amusing but the whole film was spoilt by the ending. The aim of the film was in the end to get enough cash together to keep the video shop goin. Then just at the end as it seemed they'd changed the mind of the demolition guy when he all the community together to watch the film. It went and abruptly ended without knowing if they managed to keep the place open, not the greatest film I've ever seen.

It was OK - kind of a 5-6 out of 10 film. It was very sad in places, but also very funny in places. Truly bizarre though and the characters weren't all likeable.

Jack Black is so overhyped.
