If you got made redundant out of the blue today:

Where would that leave you? – Do you think you’d find another one quick?

Have you been redundant before? - Did it take you long to find another Job?

Were you one of those that weren't in line for redundancy, but felt that you needed to find another Job before a possible next round of redundancy? I.E. Abandon a sinking ship.

I've been made redundant 2 times in the past 2 year,each time was pretty much out of the blue.They were bad times.Luckly both time i was able to go and stay at my folks house until i could get myself straight again.
If i was to get made redundant tomorrow i would pretty much have to get a job straight away,but i think i'd probably be able to do that though i aint to keen on finding out!!:lol:

I'd be alright. Working more than one job i'd just increase my hours on the evening job!

i'd take my redundancy money and go abroad somewhere hot and think about my future - for at least 6 months!

I'd chill out for a few months and then look around for something to keep me busy until the next academic year starts. Then I'd do a PGCE and become a teacher and try to give something back to society 'cause I've had a pretty good ride until now.
