Found its reference on the Parks & Gardens website, but where on Loxley Road is it exactly? Excuse my ignorance. Has anyone ever hired it for an event and is the room a decent size? What's the kitchen like?

Also, what do people think of the children's playground up near Hunters Gardens on the edge of Loxley Common? Anyone take their kids there? The swings are OK but the rest seems a bit, um... retro. (i.e. hasn't been given a lick of paint since 1975...)

The pavillion is on Loxley Recreation Ground, this is on the left just past the Admiral Rodney Pub. The room would probably be OK for 20ish kids, I don't know what the kitchen is like. The Recreation ground used to have its own play equipemnt but this was taken out.

The playground at Hunters Gardens is an absolute disgrace there is hardly anything on it and it desperately needs upgrading.
