Please somebody save me. :help:

My dogs have taken up singing

This morning all I could hear from upstairs was howling, barking and warbling from the kitchen.
It's been happening quite a lot recently so I crept down as quietly as possible to spy on them and they were just laid in their bed, tails wagging, singing together!

I'm sure they think it sounds wonderful but it doesn't! They're not in any way distressed they just seem to enjoy it but they shut up as soon as they see me.

I've never heard dallies howl like that! It's not too bad when it's through the day but 3am is just beyond a joke!

more proof that Eddy is senile and Takara will join in with anything remotely fun? :hihi:

Well youve heard 'More AILSA sings Pink Floyd' on youtube- you should get it filmed and uploaded- they may be a talent waiting to be discovered (Ailsa's had over 14000 hits so far!)

Molly and Petie howl to each other too- I haven't found a way of stopping them either. It's actually really cute coming from Petie (in the way that most things are cute when they're being done by a shihtzu!).

I used to have a german shepherd that used to howl when it heard the ice cream van, strangely though it was only chris`s ices that it used to do it to:suspect:

I'm starting to doubt that theory though... as others have said their dogs do it, and tbh I think he's just discovered it's fun and gets my attention quickly!

But yeah, T will join in with anything remotely fun

Katkin - I can't get a proper vid cos they shut up whenever they see me so I'll have to record it from behind the door
I have to say - Ailsa's Pink Floyd is far better!

Petie loves singing. If a dog barks on the telly Petie will sit in front of it and howl beautifully for ages. x

Bless him

We've returned home on occasion to the sounds of a beagle chorus, and had our heart strings pulled, feeling guilty for leaving him alone

when we enter the room we invariably find, not a distressed animal desperate to exit his cage, but a reclining hound with one elbow casually leaning against his cushion, haing a bit of a sing to himself
