So you think the Owls will stay up this season? lets be right they have been punching above their weight since they got promoted (by the skin of their teeth, largly thanks to Kenwyn Jones).

The Blades, think they were hard done by to get relegated, yet to stay up, they only had to get a draw against WIGAN !!! and they couldn't even do that. MOst blades fans had their tales between their legs for months after.

Contrast that with the LEEDS !!! 15 points docked, and we on the up.

So what are your predictions for 2009/10 seassons then, you think the owls will still be in the Championship?

who knows, still some games left, not confident though. leeds arent even in automatic places so youre not guaranteed promotion and you're a league below owls, blades and barnsley. dont see how that makes you number one

Since he said that Jones was largely responsible for Wednesday getting up, and nothing whatsoever about him helping them to stay up afterwards ... exactly what facts do you think he's got wrong?

Much like Leeds themselves, who went into administration and failed to get out of it in a manner to satisfy Football League procedures, and should by rights have been disqualified from the League altogether. For some reason they were let back in with a mere 15-point deduction.

So wait a minute l**ds on the up when u have only won 2 games this year!hmm, even if you did get your 15 points back you would only be 3 points ahead of Donny and well behind Swansea! L**ds will struggle just to get in to the playoffs, Yorkshires No1! at the moment your Yorkshire 5th best team and can`t even beat Donny! Lets face it aswell L**ds were punching well above their weight at the start of the season but now it seems things have gone back to normal for you 3rd division minnows! who now have a pound shop where the club shop used to be, or is the pound shop the new club shop?

The only team in Yorkshire who have been on the 'up and up' in recent years is Doncaster Rovers. Promoted twice, and look like doing so again - and 12 points above this 'Leeds United' team you're on about.

And no, i'm not a donny rovers fan.

You do know L**ds are 8th right? Even if you got 10 points back you would only be 4th.

Also by the 2009/10 season Wednesday might of gone down and come back up again.

Actually, statistically Barnsley are Yorkshires number 1 team. There appears to be a division between leeds scum and the rest of yorkshire as well :-)

Has anyone ever met a Leeds fan that isn't deluded?

They're in League One, have only won 2 games in 2008 and they STILL think they're the best team in the world!!

What will it take to make them realise that Leeds United are nothing anymore? They're just a League One club that are pushing for the play offs.

God I hate Leeds.

Hull have been promoted twice as well, although they haven't won the world-reknowned Johnstone Paints Trophy as well. ;)

Leeds could get their points back. Don't know what chance they have but reckon Rovers won't be 15 points ahead by the court date as Leeds have a few, on-paper, easy games before the Keepmoat clash so cheats may prosper.

It'd be good next year though with 6 Yorkshire clubs in the Championship. Sheff U, Wednesday, Barnsley, Rovers, Hull, Leeds - a derby less than every 1 in 4 games.

Even if Leeds hadn't been docked 15 points, they still wouldn't be top of League 1. As it is, you're not even in a playoff position. So, talk of the Premier League is premature to say the least....

Don't agree with you on much but have to agree Kenwyne got us promoted almost on his own. If he had on a season long loan that year we would have won the league.
