I walked through Hillsborough corner at about 21:30 tonight, and saw one paramedic car, and five police cars parked between The Shakey and The Blue Ball; anyone know what was going on?

View Full Version : Hillsborough Corner - Sunday Eve 6th March Kristian 06-03-2005, 21:42 I walked through Hillsborough corner at about 21:30 tonight, and saw one paramedic car, and five police cars parked between The Shakey and The Blue Ball; anyone know what was going on? K x duffman 06-03-2005, 21:53 It was the game between Wedneday and Doncaster Rovers in the afternoon. The coppers hang around a lot later for the drinkers, but I wouldn't think it would warrant that many so late on,perhaps a footy related incident or just a regular puch up? My cousin works at legends maybe he will know, will try to find out. D2J 06-03-2005, 22:12 No doubt it will be the ones who can't hold the ale ;) Kristian 06-03-2005, 22:15 Originally posted by duffman It was the game between Wedneday and Doncaster Rovers in the afternoon. You're right duffman, there's normally a police presence, but it's normally black mariah's; these were police cars, and judging solely on the way they were parked, I would guess they had been left there in a hurry! K x Well, are you sure on that? they can be pretty bad when they're not in a hurry aswell. The law doesn't apply to them;) Can't get in touch with my cousin so will have to wait til tomorrow to see. K x duffman 07-03-2005, 11:00 Not confirmed but I heard from a Hillsborough regular that it was just another scuffle between a group of yobs, could it be related to this (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31206) incident the other week? Kristian 07-03-2005, 11:06 Thanks Duffman!
