Need to know what, in the Roman Catholic Church they call the complete list of all the saints. Its O_N_N. I've tried every source of knowledge I can lay my hands on except the SF. If anyone helps me out and I win the £1000 prize, there'll be a pint in it for you.

I think your first letter (O) is wrong and the answer is CANON
What was the clue that gave the O?

Can you give us the exact wording of the clue?
... and what he says ^^^^^
Clue. In the Roman Catolic Church, the complete list of all the saints.
The 'O' comes out of carriole which, I think is the answer to 'Two-wheeled open carriage drawn by a pair of horses abreast'. If CANON were right then carriole would become C_R_ _C_E
