Emilys being spayed tomorrow and chipped. Im very worried for my little girl, shes so tiny and fragile and timid.
Im also quite frightened for myself because we have to take her food up at 6 tonight and she screams the house down in the morning for her breakfast! so tomorrow shall be quite a task!

I hope my little girl will be ok

It's always very worrying knowing they are going under anesthetic. I can remember being worried when Spangle was spayed. The best thing to do is try and keep yourself busy until the time the vet has told you it's OK to ring. We'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Hope all goes well, I'm sure it will. You'll be surprised at how well she copes. Mine acted like nothing had happened when they came home.

Awwwww try not worry they cope with it very well and will be on the mend before you know it,having said that we had a collie who was spayed and we spoiled her rotten,it took us ages to realize she was acting like she was still under the weather to keep on getting treats and cuddles the crafty sod :D

It'll be Arnie's turn next month too. Try not to fret Keely- you're doing the right thing and she'll be fine

Just booked April in for her spay. She's been done on Friday, bless her! I'm not too worried now, but I will be when i have to say bye bye to her at the vets on Friday morning!

Good luck to Emily!!

Tiffin (Emily's sister) was speyed about a month ago and was absolutely fine. The biggest problem we had was keeping her calm when we got her home, she just wanted to play with her brothers.

She is still so very small though, I half expected them to say she was too tiny to operate on!

I am a little scared that she's too delicate for it, she is only a tiny thing. another concern is she doesnt like strangers very much, and if she has to wear a plastic collar I dont know what il do, she wont even wear a normal collar!

Hope Emily is ok, Hattie got through it ok apart from the stress of the plastic collar (which I removed after 24 hrs) funny that u say and Tiffins mum about being small. hattie is tiny she still looks like a kitten, she has been spayed a few months now though, so try not to worry you just have to get it done and move on. Hattie was really tired, scared and thirsty when she came home so make sure comfort zones and water and lots of love are avaliable.:)

Yes Tiff still looks like a kitten, mind you her half brother are only a little bigger than her and they are well over a year old.

Tiff didn't need a buster collar and she was very good with her sutures.
