Isn't this just the ISP's using a legal form of spyware
I know the Virgin Media newsgroups have been discussing this for some weeks now.
Pretty much every customer involved in these groups (admittedly probably a very small proportion of the overall customer base) has told VM that they want no part of it.
As I understand it VM's stance is that nothing has been agreed or decided yet.
It's called Phorm and I for one would drop any ISP that uses it....
