I watched Carlisle gain a 1-0 win at Forest on SS1 but on switching to Setanta Sports to check on Torquay v Aldershot, I got the message: "No satellite signal is being received". Anyone else confirm similar?

View Full Version : Setanta Sports signal - Monday evening CHAIRBOY 03-03-2008, 21:43 I watched Carlisle gain a 1-0 win at Forest on SS1 but on switching to Setanta Sports to check on Torquay v Aldershot, I got the message: "No satellite signal is being received". Anyone else confirm similar? Code13 03-03-2008, 21:48 I am watching the Ulster v Llanelli match on Setanta 2, but just flicked over to Setanta 1 and it is fine on my set. CHAIRBOY 03-03-2008, 22:47 They are experiencing problems in that people can get 434 but no other Setanta channels although 432 and 433 are up. Phoned again Tuesday pm as system still not working. "Experiencing a high number of calls" - so 20 minutes wait to be told it is a problem with their transmitter caused by the snow! and high winds. "Hopefully, as the weather gets better in the week, it should sort itself out", said the customer service operator. Sounds like something out of West Coast rail! Thank goodness the football this weekend is cup action and doesn't rely on Setanta. I also had to point out that they've debited my account for the last two months when I paid a year up-front in October! This is dnow due to be refunded. RacingUK on 432 is still working and Setanta Ireland - but no 1 and 2 429/430. |
