I saw a poster advertising this in the pet shop at firth park, I think its cat protection making the offer.
And its for people on bens, available at selected vets throughout the city, you can choose which one is nearest to you.
I do have a contact number from the poster but I'm not sure I should put it on here, if your interested just Pm me and I will send it to you... the offer ends in 2 weeks :)

Just bringing this back up because its important! :D
Broomhill Vets are participating in this... I only know because someone phoned to ask how it worked the other day and I hadn't got a clue about it!
From what I understand, you contact CPL, they take your details and send the nearest vet a voucher - you then make an appointment to bring the cat in.

blazekitty please empty your inbox so that I can pm you :)
how come so few people have taken this up?
this is the problem with cats having the status they do - having the freedom to wander
people get a cat as an easy pet when they can't look after a dog, bung it outside, and don't even think about preventing kittens from coming about
at least most dogs are kept indoors and under control, so it's less of an issue in dogs
the irresponsible people who let all these kittens be born are going to be the ones who bring about laws to treat cats as vermin. In some areas nearly every house has at least two cats and often six cats. Have a dig about for the thread on the man in walkley who the RSPCA were investigating for killing so many. Somebody posted on the thread about how awful he was, but listed how many cats all of the neighbouring houses had, and I was shocked. Who the heck wants to live with that many cats digging up their veg patch as a toilet?!?
Get your cats 'done' for free whilst you can

I rang the CPL and had 3 strays ''done'' the vets did these whilst waiting for the vouchers and the vets stood the cost of spaying the 6 week preg female, well done to CPL for offering this service now my back door might not stink of skunk tom cat spray lol!
