I want to buy a new property (im a 1st time buyer :S) can anyone advive on any websites that show new developments planned / comming up ?

There have been some new built flats at the bottom of Albert Road at meersbrook
There are still some left with different agents
Not sure what your price bracket is, but thought that you may be interested

There are some new appartments and town houses not far off being finished in Oughtibridge, they seem to be selling fast. They are at the website www.cala.co.uk, click on Yorkshire and the development is The Sycamores, Sheffield.

There are loads of new builds of appartments but look at the prices!! I'd rather have a nice little house with my own drive any day. They are getting far too expensive for first time buyers.I'd love to see more space and less development in our City.

Hi Gazza- Check out the Parklands development by Bellway Homes. They're the most affordable new builds in Sheffield at the moment and are located in S2, Manor (off City Road). The houses and apartments are NHBC approved and they are finished to a very high standard.

Half a million for a 2 bed apartment in Wetherby ?

Norfolk Park is currently being re-generated, I think around 14 tower blocks have been demolished, only one more to go in April....

Gleesons have built some apartments and houses on some of the land, £118,000 for a new build apartment (2 remaining), £130,500 for new build 3 bed semi with garage (2 remaining), see either www.mynorfolkpark.co.uk or www.saxtonmee.co.uk and search under S2...

Have you seen the Strata homes development on Kenwood Road, NetherEdge, they are out of this world. Prices are around £168,000. Lot quiter than the town but very close to it. Good location.

Strata homes are to build two bedroomed apartments at gleadless townend, just off ridgeway road development starts around september.

David Wilson hae a development in Halfway.

There's also the new place in Renishaw - I think it's called Heritage Park but can't remember which developer is doing it.
