Weather warning issued today in Sheffield for heavy rain. City centre has just got considerably darker, so I'm guessing it will start soon. Anyway, just a friendly warning from your friendly host ;)

Nomme max 22-09-2003, 10:42 It's just started raining here in R'ham and the sky's darkening rapidly just in time for lunch (not that I intend eating sky you understand). Oh, g*d, we're discussing the weather. What are you doing to me Geoff? DaBouncer 22-09-2003, 10:43 YES - Love the rain! upholder 22-09-2003, 10:49 Just been out in it to pick a job up, got soaked. Guess where...................Ecclesall :o DaBouncer 22-09-2003, 10:49 Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh not the 'E' word! cosywolf 22-09-2003, 10:52 Rain'll water my garden, but what I really want is a MASSIVE storm. Thunder, lightning, the works. There's nothing like it for electrifying the soul. max 22-09-2003, 10:52 Originally posted by upholder Just been out in it to pick a job up, got soaked. Guess where...................Ecclesall :o Let me make this quite clear: It is not raining in Ecclesall, it's raining in Ecclesall ROAD. cosywolf 22-09-2003, 10:53 It floods on Ecclesall Road...bet it doesn't flood in Ecclesall... Moon Maiden 22-09-2003, 10:54 been raining most of the morning here in Hillsborough Moon Zamo 22-09-2003, 11:25 It's grim up north! Got soaked cycling in to work today, had three cars try to kill me and two pedestrians walk out on me! Not looking forward to the ride home tonight. Anyone travelling along the A621 going out of town tonight is advised to give all cyclists a wide berth - it could be me and I'm in a bad mood!!!  cosywolf 22-09-2003, 11:26 Raindrops keep fallin' on my head... Thunder, all through the night... It's rainin' men, hallelujah... I'm singin' in the rain, just singin' in the rain... I was subconsciously brainwashed in to starting this thread by a song on the radio... my apologies. :) DaBouncer 22-09-2003, 11:32 Originally posted by cosywolf Raindrops keep fallin' on my head... You Karaoke queen you! cosywolf 22-09-2003, 11:38 The horrible noise issuing from my mouth is currently being drowned out by the rain. So that's all right. I've been trying to think up more, but sadly all I can think of is.. Itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout, down came the rain and washed the spider out... Hmm a bit lame. Agent Dan 22-09-2003, 11:51 Hmmm... should have heeded geoff's warning! Went to get a hair cut, and came out to find it was chucking it down!! D'oh!! it's raining, it's pouring, the old man is... working?! I'm only happy when it rains Why does it always rain on me? cosywolf 22-09-2003, 12:00 Why couldn't I think of those? Must be the rain washing all my thoughts away... Agent Dan 22-09-2003, 12:02 I have a great memory for lyrics!! Shame about the rest of my brain, really! :P Carlwarker 22-09-2003, 13:38 Only one thing to say to you rain-nuts out there - dry up! 'Weather' you take this advice is, of course, up to you.
