Just thought I would let you know that the Meadowhall retail park Aldi still has some of the knitting needles sets (http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/2867_5213.htm) available and are now down to £3.99. I think they would be ideal for children (was thinking of LisaH when I saw them).

These look very similar to the ones I bought from Poundland - for £1, funnily enough - not very long ago. Even more of a bargain!

Can't say I've used them yet though, just thought they might come in handy some time as they were so cheap.
