For some odd reason, same day, both of my dvd players isnt acknowledging any dvd discs!

It loads up and says *no disc*. Looked in both manuals and doesnt have a troubleshooting section!!

ive tried switching them off and loading them up again but no use..

Can anyone shed a light?

Dooooooooomed! I take it you are on about hi-fi DVD players not a computer one. Try a few different disks, then give up and go buy a new one! It might still work as a CD player.

try cleaning the disc and laser mite be some dust on disc i get this all time with mine also is the disc a copy as some dvd players will not accept copys

Have you tried cleaning the disk with a soft cloth - this works for me when my DVD player sometimes shows the 'no disk' reading???

I tried real and copied DVDs and it didnt work.

Tried the cleaning laser disc..didnt recognise it..

whats strange is both got the same problem on the same day:suspect:

keep trying cleaning them both if no look then bry a new one

the disk isn't a region 1 one is it?
