Good riddance!

What are the adverts about with Katy walking down the street with wind blowing in her hair? On for about a second or so at the front and back of the commercials?!?

Did you know the Harris, family are originally from sheffield? They got moved to manchester on a witness protection program after the mum witnessed a murder at the pub she worked at (Or something like that), they then went on to describe the area they lived in as 'rough' and 'violent' (sorry if there are any inaccuracies, second hand information, sister+TV =soap addict).

And where was this rough and violent area you ask, none other than hunters bar in ecclesall! Hardly makes me cry with fear everytime i go down there!

Why does the cameraman not come forward as a witness, he must have seen it. ps Bring back Len Fairclough.

saw the demise of tommy harris , but that katie could have been a bit more convincing with the tears when her mother first
told her that martin was innocent.
dont think she can act for toffee.
Mind you a lot thats gone on to other things from coronation street have done better with other stuff.
also maggie jones who plays blanche was a very good actress before, ive seen her in lots of northern plays eg sam.
and that new thing with suranne jones(karen macdonald)
and ray winston should be on tv soon , lets see how she fairs
in that , as ray is a great actor.
will she do him justice.?

Yeah and remember the outcry when it was revealed that they were from Hunter's Bar? WTF are the fans on?! Don't they realise it's all like, NOT REAL?! :loopy:

No Rich, I don't think they do...I still remember the 'Free Diedre Rachid' bumper stickers several years ago.

And this was in Liverpool. I thought Scousers would be pleased to see a Manc locked up - innocent or not :suspect:

Oh Wendy, you've got me all confused now! I can't find where I read what I put on here earlier, but I have found this (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds19517.html) article, and this (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/corrie/) section of Digital Spy is fab for corrie updates.

On reflection, it might have been something I saw on TV; it could have been Tina Baker on This Morning!

Be aware that it's usual for the producers to film several different endings to a story and then provide some as teasers to the TV rag mags and press to whet the appetites of the viewers.

For all this speculation over who eventually does takes the rap, it may be someone completely unexpected...

Looks like they put all sorts of different storyline leaks out round Christmas doesn't it! Makes you wonder whether they will use one of those endings for the storyline.

I think your argument holds weight Wendy!

Digital Spy seem to never be wrong with regards to their spoilers, however, they never post anything on spoilers too far from the future. Maybe they 'leak' things out in the meantime to drum up interest?!? I know I would!

They were out on the means of death though weren't they. I've suspected for a long time that the producers do leak certain things as a means of keeping the media happy. Keeps them off their back if they let on with a storyline a few months in front, especially as they think that most people will forget what they read by the time it is screened. Which I suppose is true to a certain degree but we don't all - do we!:D

From what I've seen in the papers he's been attacked at football matches before because of the character he's been playing. Therefore, I think you will find it's probably down to a form of self defence rather then arrogance. Besides would you want to be interrupted everytime you go to watch your team play by some total stranger wanting to talk about corrie!

If he didnt want to attract attention he should not have gone on pitch at half time..
Besides its one of those things that all people in the public eye should know to expect

Aparrently Coronation Street bosses are contemplating doing away with most of the old cast in parody ala the Viz Comic Style using a variety of common household tools.
We've already had the spannering!
Next we will see Gail be completely de-skinned in a nasty accident with a plane, Sally is destined to be spirit-levelled away and poor Martin will find himself the victim of a good rasping.

Arent soaps supposed to be a refection of real life.!!

The number of deaths, divorces, marriages, births, adulteries, partie s that goes on in Corrie, it is no wonder that they never go to do a weekly shop, mow the lawn,go to do their ECDL, take the bedding off,or ..put their house on the market.!!
But I suppose that would just be too boring! Like my life!!
