Who would be a manager these days have a bad start to the season and you are out, who's next?

True, I don't think anyone will be able to do a better job at Spurs mind.

I think it's pretty crazy how little time some managers get. But hasn't Hoddle been there a couple of seasons? My mate was convinced either Hoddle or Houlier would go before Christmas. I didn't think either of them would, but I guess she was right! I agree with Lickszz: who else could do a better job? There's a right old merry-go-round going on with football managers these days. What would have been a successful season for Spurs anyway? Getting into Europe? Winning the FA or Carling Cup maybe? I think they are quite a few seasons behind United and Arsenal in terms of being able to challenge for the Premiership.

I could have understood it if it had been before the start of the season but prior ro his sacking they had just let him spend something in the region of at least 11million on new player. What were they thinking? And then only a few games in and they sack him. To be fair the squad had a lot of injuries and bearing this in mind I don't think it was a fair decision to sack him as his best squad hadn't been available to select.

Glen Hoddle went seriously down in my estimation for his anti-disabled rantings a couple of years ago where he lambasted disabled people for allegedly making no effort to find jobs and involve themselves in other aspects of for want of a better word, "normal folk"'s life.

WTF?! For a start, there's a lack of opportunity IMO for disabled people to get jobs, cos although it's SUPPOSED to be illegal to discriminate against disabled people in the job race, the big companies regularly discriminate, and you can't say they don't, otherwise I myself would probably be working instead of at home on disability benefits, and his general attitude toward the disabled was disgusting...

Perhaps now that he knows what it's like to be out of work, maybe he'll shut the **** up about "lazy people" as he calls them.

Sorry for the language.
